Integrating art into literacy, math, and sciences help students to connect to difficult concepts visually, making it easier to understand and retain. Providing student's with opportunities to learn and express what they know through art has been proven to enhance problem-solving, critical thinking, social skills, and motor function. With your help, you can make a difference in my classroom by providing materials to a majority of low-income families with little access to expensive materials. This project includes paint, paper, pens, markers, play-doh, and erasers. With this project, the student's will be able to create projects throughout the year connected to the new concepts. They will have more hands-on experiences and increased opportunities to express themselves with multisensory tools.
