This project will provide more opportunities for hands on learning! Gone are the days of paper-pencil tasks when learning especially in the world of mathematics. This project will provide each student with tools to help them grow. It will be so much easier to demonstrate and reinforce place value concepts with this hands-on teaching kit! Each student will have their own pack of base 10 manipulative to review concepts in small or large group and it will help encourage children to use the manipulative to practice place value skills on their own. These base 10 blocks will help the students develop skills in comparing numbers, regrouping, expanded form, addition, subtraction and place value.
