Access to quality literature is a MUST for all subject areas. This year my social studies unit will focus on human interaction and my students will participate in a series of four units that teach them about diversity and connection. The books needed for my project will lay the foundation for each lesson that is taught. The four topics of the unit include: Groups, environment, place and time, Needs and wants. The books needed for this project based unit will give my students an exciting opportunity to explore the various ways people interact among themselves and with the world around them.
