Flexible seating is a research and evidence-based way to help students achieve their best learning. It is also a way to allow learners to have more freedom of movement in a classroom that is small where big bulky tables take up a predominant amount of the space. Flexible seating will allow each of my students to have an individualized learning experience and learn in the way that best suits their needs. For young learners, the ability to wiggle when necessary and complete tasks in a way that they are able to focus on the content, not their own discomfort, is important.
