I would love to offer my students flexible seating options to make them excited about learning in my classroom. I will still offer traditional seating but having an option to sit somewhere different is sometimes all it takes for some students to become engaged and to cure restlessness. I feel when students are allowed to make choices for themselves on things such as where to sit during independent work time, they will take ownership in their learning. This will also decrease disruptions and negative behaviors in the classroom. The seating I have chosen is lightweight and easy to move around the classroom.
