My students work harder than average students in order to learn the basics of academics and they all have sensory needs. The extra effort increases their need for breaks By providing a LEGO table and building bricks, I can both encourage my students to complete assignments and progress academically, as well as provide the needed sensory break. Additionally, as this is a new environment for all of my students, the LEGO table and building bricks will provide something exciting for the students to look forward to, rather than just being worried and scared. I can't wait to see their creativity as they build with the LEGO building bricks and see their increased academic progress due to this addition to our classroom.
