My students always have a book on their desk to read whenever they are finished with their work or are overwhelmed. They are encouraged to read rather than act out. The books are a precious gift for the children that will last with them in the memory. Books offer a window into the world beyond our reach. Let us reach those places with your help. Reading offers my students the chance to "explore new places", "see new things" in their minds and learn about anything and everything imaginable. The more books my kids have to choose from, the more they will read! Reading is power. Books last a long time so the books will benefit my kids for years to come.
