With COVID-19 on the rise, my school district has decided to participate in distance learning for the time being. With that being said, students will need certain school supplies, in order to participate in the learning at home. These markers, erasers, scissors and other materials will make a difference in my students' learning by providing them with the tools needed to help them succeed. These materials will be used in various ways to fit the learning needs of my students. Through this project, all of my students will be able to participate in distance learning with ease, knowing that they will have access to all of the necessary learning tools. My hope is that my students' families won't feel the extra burden of having to purchase school supplies for their children, especially if they can't afford it. I want my students to feel prepared and ready to learn when school starts. Most importantly, I want them to feel comfortable and confident in their learning at home by giving them the tools needed to be successful. These supplies will provide an equitable learning opportunity for success to each of my students, both at home and when we return to the classroom.
