This year will be my first year as a teacher, so it is already a special year. The requirement to engage students is a primary need that I wish to fulfill. The donations provided today will allow me to differentiate learning for all of my kids.
The storage supplies will allow for correct labeling in a clean and clutter free manner. This will make sure that this is not a distraction or stressor on the children. Many students can't handle clutter and the mess can distract from the actual learning. The time they spend with me may be the only one on one time they receive.
It is important to have a distraction-free lesson. That is where the second part of my project comes in. The decorations will liven up the classroom and increase interest in math.
The decor in my classroom is outdated, and I will be teaching in a smaller room. I need to be able to improve the appearance of our classroom and make my visual students want to engage. Students love to walk into a space that feels like a home away from home. Your donation will allow me to update the shelving, desk, and walls in my classroom.
