I would like to create a classroom library of current and diverse young adult novels so that my students can get a view of the world outside of the small town they live in. I am an avid reader of young adult novels and having them in the classroom to share and promote will help us be successful with this goal. Having a classroom library of diverse books will make it easy to put the right book in the right hands. There is no such thing as someone who does not like to read-they just haven't found the right book!
