The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used to provide an individualized learning experience for each student. We need your help in getting everything through our door! The saucer chairs and wobble cushions will be used to provide students with flexible seating options. The markers, pencils, sharpener and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students so that they are able to work on becoming life long learners. The sand, water beads, and stretch bands will be used by the students when they are in need of a sensory break. The buzzers, whiteboards, and doorbell will be used to provide students with engaging and interactive lessons. The binders will be used for student's IEP's and allow students to have accessible access to the paperwork side of their IEP. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during class and when we are out in the community. The clipboards and dry erase pockets will be used to display information and also provide students with a way to take their paperwork out into the community. Lastly, the velcro will be used to create various hands-on materials for students to communicate their wants and needs. The donations to this project will help make the classroom a place that meets the student's individual needs. By facilitating an individualized, flexible, and accomodating classroom environment, each student will learn and grow into life long learners. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming independent community members. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on an individualized, flexible, and accomodating learning environment. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
