The materials in the project will be put to excellent use in my classroom. Instead of purchasing both clipboards and white boards, I have found a 2 in 1 option to make them easier for students to carry around the classroom when rotating through centers. In addition to these, our school is transitioning from desks to tables this year. With this being said, students will no longer have a built in compartment to store their items (books, folders, box, supplies). The "seat sacks" will go over students chairs and allow them to have easy access to all of their essential items, just with a simple twist and reach into their seat sack. My hope is to create a loving environment that makes my students feel safe and comfortable in my classroom. The stools in this project will contribute to the home-like atmosphere that I hope my classroom will be for all of my students. These stools will be used as "special seating" for students when they are at the teacher table and working with me. Last, but definitely not least, the tabletop easel pad will be used to make charts, graphs, and other posters to display new content material throughout the classroom.
