The materials I am requesting will promote literacy in a meaningful and positive way. When students are exposed to multiple genres of a text at their independent reading level it gives them the opportunity to be successful. Success in the classroom is extremely important in building self-confidence. Students will read through both fiction and non-fiction texts which will capture their interest and increase their motivation to read. It is extremely important for students to develop a lifelong love for literacy. It will give them the opportunity to be successful in a 21st century workplace and society. Help me make this goal an achievable one!

About my class
