In first grade it can be difficult for students to sit for long in their seats. The ability to have a clean and comfortable place to sit on the floor will be helpful to keep my students from being distracted. Last year, my students loved getting on the floor to learn or to read but frequently complained of the cold tile or the hardness of the floor. I would to be able to give my students a nice welcoming area to sit and learn. I would also like to purchase other seating arrangements for the students to sit and read their books to themselves or each other to promote their love of reading even more!
