We will be using these materials to create school news broadcasts. Our students will learn to investigate stories, write scripts, edit videos, and put together the broadcasts. Throughout the school year, we will switch roles frequently so every child gets a turn to try out the various job involved with producing the news videos. We will be working together with the other three third grade classes to put these news broadcasts together. As an educator, I know that children are very interested in technology and when I can incorporate their interests into my teaching, it leads to more successful learning.
