Comfortable kid-sized seating for a classroom library center in Pre-K helps the children be embraced in a book. I want my students to see reading as an enjoyable experience and create a love of books. I am a first-year teacher with limited hand-me-downs and a maxed out school budget. I want to help set a foundation of learning and a love for reading. I wanted to start with my main focus on my classroom library as a focal point to draw the students in. I will have to work on other centers, but I feel a class should have a welcoming literacy center.
