One of my goals for the upcoming school year is to expand my science and math instruction, as well as, elevate student ingenuity by incorporating STEM bins and activities in my classroom. I am looking to add manipulatives such as, Gears and Wheels, Brain Flakes, Interlocking Links, Tinker Toys, Magnetic Sticks, and Marble Runs. I believe that by providing these manipulatives and critical thinking activities my students will be naturally encouraged to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in their future school years! Perhaps this small project in my classroom will ignite students to become astronauts, scientists or engineers in the future!
