My project requests funding for basic supplies. They come ready to learn and simply need basic tools such as binders and graphing paper to begin helping them learn algebra and to continue achieving academically, once they make it into my welcoming classroom. My students come to school wanting to learn, despite battles with poverty, hunger and crime before they even reach the doors to our school building. Your simple act of kindness will help them learn the organizational skills they need to be success now and in the future. This is my first year teaching high school algebra, and I would be extremely grateful if you would fund this project to help my students succeed.
