Fairy Tale TEAM kit will provide and enrich activities that integrate reading, engineering and thinking skills. Most of my students come from immigrant families that has move to United States to improve their lives. Most of them have very limited financial resources and limited English Language proficiency. Hand-on activities are best to acquire a new language in playful situation. Students will gain a deeper experience that will enable them to become more successful in a new environment. It will allowed them to talk among each other to resolve a problem while they read a familiar story. As example, on the Three Little Pigs story, students will experience different structures, so the house will not get blow away easily.
