My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy taking a break and picking up a good book. Every book that is placed in our library is treated with love and care. The books I have chosen to place in my classroom have been selected with my students in mind. These books will give my students a different perspective on real life situations as we discuss them every day in our lessons. I plan to use these books as a teaching tool to help enhance their understanding of racism, bullying, and cultural differences. I am requesting class sets of "Wonder" and "Ruth and the Green Book" so every student can use one when we read as a whole class. I chose to ask for a classroom set in order to embed it into our curriculum.
