The goal of my classroom is to provide students with a positive environment, and in order to provide my students with that experience, I have selected a range of items that will keep my classroom organized and welcoming in order to help them be successful. The cubicle organizer was selected to hold all of the books in the literature library for students to read during class and possibly check out for personal reading. The 10 slot organizer stand was selected to provide each student with their own folder slot in order to provide them with a consistent organization when keeping up with their work.
I believe that education can change someone’s life, with the evidence coming from my own experiences. I am also very aware that the younger generations, specifically those from lower-income communities, are not aware of the power that exists in this resource. Though it sounds simple, many individuals from lower income communities lack the critical perspective needed to perform well in educational settings. Providing students with classroom resources and technology will give them a greater chance to access the material. Moreover having my own printer will allow me to print out additional supplementary work to further their learning. The laminator will serve the purpose of keeping classroom signs and other materials intact for the next classes to come.
Creating a positive environment is extremely important to me and I believe seating plays a huge role in how students get through their day, I listed a standing desk on my list to provide students with an opportunity to stand while completing work if sitting becomes too difficult for them. I have also listed chair bands to help with students that are frequent
