This project will help my first graders have choices when it comes to sitting and learning in the classroom. We all learn in different ways and we prefer different ways to sit and be comfortable to enable us to learn. Some of us need to stand or sit high, some need to wobble, and some of us need a cushy chair. Having a variety of options in the classroom will give each student a better opportunity to learn. Many students need to wiggle and move. Wobble seats and cushions are great for these kids. Many kids prefer to stand at times. Tall stools and standing tables will allow them to do this as well. When students choose their own seating they have less anxiety and are more engaged in the classroom. Please help me provide the best learning environment for my students.
