Our goal at our academy is to continue to provide the students with opportunities to channel their creative energy by exposing them to a variety of art medias and art tools. Art has helped my students in countless ways: increased self-esteem & social skills, outlet for feelings of frustration & anxiety, motivation for positive behavior, as well as an improvement of critical thinking skills. By having two standing easels added to our classroom environment, the students will have a sense of pride and an increase in independence. The art students will be able to look and feel like the true artists they are.
