Arts education is vital to learning and growing as a well-rounded citizen of society. It promotes expanding one's imagination as is crucial to evolving as a society. I truly believe that if we want to aid in the future success of our nation, we must invest in our students' arts education. This will be the second year I am blessed to be teaching such bright talents, however, we are dealing with bare bones for supplies. Now the arts department has grown by adding two theatre classes and a full blown theatre club - meaning it's time to invest in some serious inventory! With a functioning theatre stocked with paints, tools, costumes, and design equipment, our students will be able to explore new possibilities and learn to express themselves more fully. Thus, preparing them to represent themselves articulately and think outside the box in their future industries to give us the innovations of tomorrow.
