This project will provide my students with a nice, new carpet to sit on during morning activities, small group, whole group, and story time. Even though we clean our carpet often, it is very old and in need of replacing. My students spend the majority of their day sitting on the carpet. A new carpet will provide a safe and clean environment for these young children to learn and grow. Such young children are constantly putting their hands in their mouths and on the floor. I have many special needs students in my classroom who require assistance. This new carpet would allow them to be comfortable during teaching times.
