These seating options will help students learn the skills they need while moving, allowing them to concentrate better in a small group. While they are more focused, I can teach them the social emotional skills they need, such as self regulation and dealing with big feelings. The students will be able to practice these skills in a small setting, then take these skills back with them to the classroom in order to reach their true academic and social potential in a larger setting. This will ideally lead to fewer behavioral issues not only in the classroom, but on the playground and lunchroom as well.
