This will help on grade level readers as well as above grade level readers who can comprehend at higher levels but who also enjoy listening to a story, often this leads to working on higher level skills for them. Students of all levels often benefit from hearing and seeing text to boost comprehension and in turn this will their increase self confidence. This is key to success at this grade level. One of the most important goals is to have them become not only readers who love to read, but readers who read to learn.
