This shelf will be used to display the nonfiction books that are currently stored in bins on 3 unstable shelves. Many of the books don't fit on the shelves and they must crawl on the floor to see them. This shelf makes it easy to look through the nonfiction categories and even the bigger books will fit. Currently we have to store the books that don't fit in the small bins elsewhere. It will encourage students to choose nonfiction by catching their eyes while browsing, instead of crawling on the floor to see them. The shelf will be movable so I can bring it out into the classroom when we are doing research projects.
