While every day in Kindergarten is an exciting one, there are so many different emotions my students go through each day! My goal for this year is to incorporate more Social Emotional Learning and to teach my students that the way they are feeling and the way they make others feel is important. Each one of these books presents a different scenario about emotions that each student will relate to or already has related to, at some point in their lives. Each one of these books will help me to teach my students how to understand and react to what they are feeling in a healthy, safe way. Mental health is so important, and these books will give me the opportunity to teach that to each and every one of my students.

About my class
