The rug is the focal point of our room. It is where students spend a lot of their time. This carpet will allow my students to have their own spot to learn and focus every day. This is where students will have collaborative conversations, work in partnerships or small groups, and read. The colorful chairs will get my students excited during centers and independent reading. It will give them the flexibility to read wherever they want - independently or with a friend! The chairs are also a great way to save space in the classroom! The borders and stars will help me create a welcoming environment for my students.
