You would be donating headsets that allow my students to download VR experiences on their smartphones, plug the smartphones into the headsets, and then be transported into scenarios and real-world environments that demonstrate physics and engineering principles. By allowing my students the ability to supplement lessons using free smartphone-based apps, you would be helping to cement abstract ideas and concepts better than explanation or video ever could. These would be truly immersive experiences that allow future physicists and engineers to experience difficult concepts in a cutting-edge manner.
Virtual reality can provide the detail of complex physics relationship unlike any other medium can. I do my best to teach, reteach, and provide real-world examples and demonstrations to my students using relatable subjects... but nothing I can do would ever approach the experience that virtual reality can provide. This access would be a game-changer in my curricula, and I would also share these headsets with my colleagues so their students can also have deeper, more concrete experiences with difficult-to-master concepts and theories.
