These books will continue enhancing the print-rich classroom that I work hard to create and provide for my fifth graders. The library in my classroom is an area in which my students can pursue their love for reading. It is an area in which the children complete work and read independently. The books that I provide to my students are handled delicately, with respect and love for the text. These books also would be great for my students to use to build their knowledge of historical events and people. I have found that the best way to grow their knowledge is to provide them with rich text. As fifth graders, my students already have an excitement to learn new things, so I hope to continue enriching that adventurous side of them. This project would greatly enrich their love for reading and building their knowledge.
