My students will explore the world of organisms at a microscopic level to have a better understanding of the world around them. They will analyze insects, bugs, and animals to develop a broader understanding of the scientific method. In my class, they will have a chance to observe, hypothesize, experiment and make conclusions. This understanding will enhance their perspectives of scientific practices with living organisms. My students will have an opportunity to develop skills to compare and contrast various living organisms through optical observations. While my students are observing living organism, implementing the scientific method and using comparison skills, they will also be learning how to properly operate a microscope to gather vital information.
