Flexible seating will not only support 21st Century learning, but will also enhance the academic experience for my students. In addition, it will support the health of my students socially, emotionally and physically. The balance ball seat will strengthen their core and promote good posture, while allowing students who have the need to move often, freedom to do so without distracting others. It promotes their creativity and allows them to practice technolgy in an environment most like the environments of their future. I see my students being more confident in their independent practice and more engaged during instruction. In closing, the updated modern environment will communicate to these students that they do matter and will encourage pride and hope for them in relation to their poverty stricken community.

About my class
