My students are eager to sit around our classroom while engaging in books during our independent reading time, working on math with partner activities, or becoming creative writers. Children yearn for choice within the classroom and my hope is to have their seating be a choice too. I have created an environment in my classroom where children are safe and free to work in a space that fits their personalities. I want them to be able to have the experiences to work in a place that is comforting. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
