Students will learn valuable lessons about life, friendship, getting along, standing out, and being themselves while valuing who they are. Reading engages students and helps them relate to the people and characters in the story. These books are a mix of fiction and non-fiction. All of them ask the audience to think about situations that they may not have experienced before and many that they have. Things like, feeling left out, showing gratitude, jealousy, bullying, defending others, standing up for what is right, diversity, apologizing, and doing your best to be the best you possible. Please check them out for yourself.
