The times we are in right now are uncertain and scary. Our students are feeling many emotions and when we are back in the classroom, I want to make sure they have the resources to support those feelings. Movement breaks may be limited when going back into the classroom, so these resources will allow students a chance to move their bodies, especially when we are having to sit for long periods of time. Students need movement, plain and simple. Research has shown the importance of movement for children. The items that I chose have multiple purposes in the classroom and allow for students to move their bodies. The items give students a comfy spot at their seats or an alternative spot in other areas of the classroom! Each student would have their own resource, so no one would feel excluded.

About my class
