Gone are the days of desk in rows and children in seats...all...day...long. Our 21st Century learners are in desperate need of voice and choice in our ever changing world! This is where the joy of flexible seating comes in! My classroom has been enjoying flexible seating for several years, but lacking in resources. We are currently using plastic lap desks and small pillows to provide comfort. Wouldn't it be nice to give these little guys an environment they are excited and proud to come and learn in everyday? Flexible seating is more than just cool seat choices, it demonstrates to the kids that learning can take place ANYWHERE! My goal is to create an environment in which kids can choose where they sit, how they sit, and be comfortable working. We want our room to look like a 21st century learning environment. Flexible seating empowers students with voice and choice! When students feel empowered in their choices, the learning possibilities are endless! Please help us achieve our goal to incorporate flexible seating in our classroom! Thank you for your support! Every cent donated is GREATLY appreciated!
