My second grade inclusion class consists of fourteen students with and without special needs. This public elementary school is located in a overpopulated city in New Jersey. Most of my students lack a strong support system at home and need to get the best learning experiences each day at school. A lot of my students become frustrated throughout the day learning second grade material. They are all eager to learn new things but sometimes struggle visualizing what is being said to them. My class is my second family and I would love to know that I am doing everything I can to help them succeed. I don't feel that I am providing them with the much needed support that they need because of the lack of funding provided from this district.
