Students with behavior issues need a place to go to relax their minds and bodies. They need an area to regroup and a safe place to express their sadness, frustration, and anxiety. The materials in this order would help my students and my school create a safe environment where students with trauma can find a comfortable spot to sit or lie down, in order to regroup. Students with trauma have a fight or flight response. These materials will give students a safe place to fulfill their flight response, take a break, and return to the classroom in a refreshed mindset.
