Every student learns in a different way. The addition of flexible seating in my classroom will give the students a new way to learn and to find their learning style. The environment within the classroom is important in the students learning. The classroom environment should mirror what students will encounter in real life. Flexible seating gives students the ability to relax in the classroom environment and learn in their style of learning. This type of classroom will help my students learn to collaborate with each other where they sit for their day (or week). It will also open up conversations as to why they want to use a specific seat and how they communicate their feelings with others. Flexible seating opens up several conversations and students will enjoy coming into a classroom every day with a great cozy environment.
