Students need a space of their own. Locker cubbies provide the students with a dedicated space to keep their personal belongings safe. They are able to store their backpacks, coats, lunchboxes and learning materials. The hooks allow for easy hanging and storage while the smaller cubby can hold their family communication folders and math workbooks. Since the locker cubbies are a student-friendly size, the students develop independence and responsibility as they put their belongings away and retrieve their learning materials on their own. The addition of these locker cubbies will help my students have a space of their own within our classroom community. It will also help organize and store their belongings in a dedicated space to improve our morning routine.
