I want to put these big joe chairs in my reading corner. I want my reading corner to be a place where my students want to go to during the day. Students grow so much by reading daily while at school. Reading is critical to a child's learning experience, and I would like to make my students feel comfortable while learning. It is proven that if students are comfortable and feel safe, they will retain more information during the school day. In second grade, students are learning to fall in love with reading and making them comfortable while doing so will help them tremendously.
