This year I decided to change my classroom from traditional seating to flexible seating. Last year, I had a couple of options where students did not have to sit in their desks and I noticed how well they were able to flourish on whatever they were working on when they have a choice of where to work best. Students do best when offered a choice. With these flexible seating options of the wobble stools and balance balls, I will be able to provide students with that choice. I have quite a few more options, but these will make my classroom pop!
