In the past three years, my students have continually impressed me with their innovation and creativity. They possess the ingenuity to be the next generation of problem solvers through their skills in engineering and technology. In order to encourage them in this endeavor, I have been developing a number of hands-on STEAM activities. When working on STEAM projects, we are often cutting through tough materials, which has proven difficult with the "kid scissors" that have been provided to me by my school site. They have been putting in the extra effort necessary, but I have determined that it is time to make this part of their projects easier so that they can reserve their problem-solving skills for more advanced tasks in their projects. Please help to encourage our next generation of problem solvers and planet savers! Thank you!
