Our students use their interactive notebooks daily to write down their vocabulary, add their foldables, and document lab results to help them better make sense and remember the lessons taught. This is an imperative tool for middle schoolers who are still learning how to organize their thoughts and materials. Not only do my students use their notebooks to reference materials throughout the school year, but they also take their notebooks with them. At the end of their middle school career, students will have their three interactive notebooks (one per year) to reflect and study for their 8th grade Cumulative State Testing.
