This carpet will be a HUGE asset to my classroom. My students love coming to the carpet every morning to share something positive about their day and talk with their peers. Morning meeting has become a safe space for my students. Having this large carpet will give them a comfortable place to sit and relax to help them get their day started off on the right foot! In addition to that, we will use this carpet space for whole group lessons, small group review, and individual reading time. A lot of my students struggle with focus and hyperactivity, the carpet space gives them an opportunity to move from their seat and recharge each morning and throughout lessons.
