The items I am requesting will help me differentiate engaging activities at levels and needs of each student. Students will become confident with their reading and gain a love of reading. Students will be able to build a strong foundation of words within their zone of proximal development. Student will learn through games, hands on activities as they are engaged in their learning. When students are engaged, learning becomes fun. Engagement reduces behaviors that could disrupt the learning of other students. Confident students are willing to try when learning is challenging. Challenging students help them to become problem solvers. Differentiating and engaging lessons prove an atmosphere where all students want to learn.
