Every student should have the opportunity to be heard in their learning environment. The Qball's microphone component allows for students' voices to be amplified, which ultimately highlights their thoughts, ideas, and answers. Oral communication skills are considered essential for 21st century success, so this ball is helping to shape my students' future. The Qball will be used in various ways in my classroom. Students will have the opportunity to share their understanding, "teach the class," present projects, and engage in whole group discussions. While gaining academic skills, students will also learn the social and emotional skills that come from public speaking, such as allowing others the opportunity to speak without interruption as well as valuing others' ideas.

About my class
