I teach 5th grade math and science to a group of very energetic, curious kids! I love to use manipulatives when teaching math so kids can understand math lessons a little easier and it makes it more fun. Once they are able to understand lessons concretely using manipulatives, it is easier for them to understand the topic abstractly. In science class, we love to perform experiments and investigate a variety of topics. The kids also love doing science experiments in class. I am in need of small stools to be able to sit around our small table for group time. They are able to understand concepts more in depth and they are also able remember information a lot easier when we do fun experiments. These materials would really help my students have fun and enjoy math and science even more.
